Mrs. Johnson Dies At 73

Mrs. Jesse B. Johnson, 73, of Route 3, Benson, died early Thursday night following a heart attack.

A funeral service was conducted Saturday at New Zealand Free Will Baptist Church by the Rev. Houston Butler and the Rev. David Capps. Interment was in the Barefoot family cemetery.

Surviving are four sons, Cornelius Johnson, Delma and Telfir, all of Route 2, Benson, and Allen B. Johnson of Dunn; six daughters, Mrs. A. E. Hudson, Mrs. C. W. Strickland of Route 2, Benson, Mrs. M. C. Bryant of Dunn, Mrs. Allen Barefoot of Route 2, Dunn, Mrs. Shelton Blackman and Mrs. Crawford Ivey of Route 3, Benson; 58 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
