ROBERTS, FARRELL M.
Died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 1994, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. He was 83, a resident of Clinton and a native of Washington Parish. He was a retired East Feliciana Parish County agent, with 28 years of service. Visiting was held at Charlet Funeral Home, Clinton, 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Visiting was held at the funeral home chapel, 9 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Tom Logan. Interment in Masonic Cemetery.
Survived by wife, Myrtle May Roberts, Clinton; a son and daughter-in-law, Ikie and Sharon P. Roberts, Clinton; two grandsons, Jeff and Todd Gardner; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; a sister, Irma R. Parker; and three brothers, Kermit, B.F. and Ikie Roberts.
Pallbearers will be Jeff and Todd Gardner, Phillip Roberts, Mac Clayton, Henry Andrews and Tom Spec Jones. Honorary pallbearers are Bob Jones, ``Sonny'' Guttzeit, Mitch McConnell, Don Phares, Landry Richardson, Danny Magee, W.B. Crain, R.L. ``Buster'' Andrews, Don Smith and Morgan Montgomery.
He was a longtime member of Clinton United Methodist Church, where he taught Men's Sunday School class for more than 20 years.
