FELIX H. ANDERS
OAK GROVE (Special) -- Final rites were held today at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Oak Grove for Felix H. Anders, who died in an Oak Grove clinic yesterday following a lengthy illness.
Officiating were the Rev. J. D. Cheatham, with interment in the Oak Grove Cemetery by Gay's Funeral Home of Oak Grove.
A retired farmer, Mr. Anders had lived in West Carroll Parish for 30 years. He was 77 years of age at his death.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Hettie Anders; a son, John Felix Anders, Ferriday; four daughters, Mrs. J. C. Todd and Mrs. J. N. Belote, both of Memphis, Tenn.; Mrs. Clyde Abernathy, Pulaski, Tenn., and Mrs. N. T. King, Lake Providence.; two brothers, D. J. Anders, Winnsboro, and J. G. Anders, Gloster, Miss.; nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Oliver Whitten, George Newman, John Hogan, Harley Philley, Henry Thomas, and T. D. Waters Jr. Deacons of the First Baptist Church in Oak Grove were honorary pallbearers.
