Graveside services for Mrs. Flora J. Robinson, 88, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday,Sept. 1, 2004, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Visitation will be held from 1 until 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. Also,visitation will be held from 2 until 4 p.m. at Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home,located at 1020 Huguenot Road, where services will be held at 4 p.m.
Mrs. Robinson, a resident of Powhatan, Va., formerly of Minden, passed away Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004. She lived most of her life in Minden. She was a member of the Minden Woman's Department Club, and for many years, was active at First Baptist Church in Minden, serving as Sunday school teacher and a member of the church choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Stella Johnson; and her brother, John H. Johnson Jr.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey J. Robinson and wife Judy of Midlothian; daughter, Jane R. Watson and husband Daniel of Powhatan; brother, Lars G. Johnson; three grandchildren, Craig Robinson, Lara and Rebecca Watson.
The family requests contributions be made to the Building Fund at Emmaus Christian Church in Powhatan, Va.
