Mrs. Flora Wells Hunter

BOSSIER CITY, LA - Graveside services for Mrs. Flora Wells Hunter, 83, will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, May 9, 1997 at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Officiating will be Rev. Harrell Shelton, associate pastor of Airline Baptist Church.

Funeral home visitation will be Thursday, May 8, after 4 p.m. at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel.

Mrs. Hunter died Thursday, May 6, 1997 at Riverview Care Center in Bossier City. She was born in Newton County, MS and was a resident of Bossier City, La. Mrs. Hunter was a homemaker and was a member of Airline Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Curtis Lee Hunter; granddaughter, Deborah Todd; two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her mother, Elsie Wells Lowery of Laurel, MS; four daughters, Irma Todd and husband Fred of Bossier City, LA, Julia Holcomb and husband, Jim of Dallas, TX, Anne Woods of Birmingham, AL and Martha Stewart and husband, Jim of Bossier City, LA; three sisters, Helen Moore, Annie L. Webb and Wilma Jo Cassel; one brother, Albert Wells; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to offer their special thanks to Dr. Ted Warren and the staff of Riverview Care Center.
