GILMER -- Services for Lucile W. McLemore, 79, of Ore City will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home with Pete Dugger officiating. Burial will be in Ore City Cemetery. Mrs. McLemore died Monday, Oct. 5, 1998, in Ore City.
She was born Oct. 18, 1918, in Shelby County and was a Baptist and a resident of Upshur County for 37 years.
Mrs. McLemore was preceded in death by her husband, Shelley L. McLemore on Jan. 11, 1994.
She is survived by one daughter, Patsy Welch of Ore City; one granddaughter, Glendia Cope; one great-grandson, Jeremy Hillin; two brothers, Sam Williams of Joaquin and George Williams of Godley; and three sisters, Beatrice Whittington of Lockford, Calif., Ann Gibbs of Keatchie, La., and Lois Barkley of Duncanville.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
