Mrs. N. T. Shows To Be Buried Today At Melville Rites

MELVILLE -- Mrs. N.T. Shows, 78, of Melville, the former Florence Sellars, died at 2 a.m. Saturday at the Baptist Hospital in Alexandria. She had been ill four days.

The body is at the family home. Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at the Baptist Church in Melville. Burial will be in the Methodist cemetery with Lafond and Son Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Shows is survived by her husband; five daughters, Mrs. Lucille Jones of Houston, Tex., Mrs. E.F. Kramer of Meeker, Mrs. W.B. James and Mrs. W.B. Flowers both of Dallas, Tex., Mrs. J.H. Welch of Lake Charles; and two sons, N.W. Shows of Sulphur and J.R. Shows of Grand Isle.

Also surviving are one sister, 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
