MRS. AMOS MCDANIEL

Funeral services for Mrs. Amos McDaniel, 95, of Sandersville, were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Sandersville Baptist Church, of which she was a member, with Rev. E. A. Hester, Rev. W. H. Merrit, Rev. W. W. Bagby and Rev. Smith B. Smith officiating.

Mrs. McDaniel leaves four sons, A. S. McDaniel, Newellton, La.; M. C. McDaniel, Clinton; Bowen McDaniel and Alton McDaniel, both of Sandersville; four daughters, Mrs. Harry Suddith, Sandersville; Mrs. Mary Carter, Dallas, Tex.; Mrs. Hattie Bustin, Laurel; and Mrs. T. T. Fowler [sic Towles], Videlia [sic Vidalia], La.; three sisters, Mrs. M. Hill and Mrs. Hardie Ulmer, both of Moss; and Mrs. Allie Bond, Lucedale; 31 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.

Serving as active pallbearers were T. A. Gooch Sr., J. T. Meador, J. C. Tucker, C. C. Robinson, Ernest Fall, James Lee Hickson, Cecil Ward, and J. H. Hinton.

Honorary pallbearers were J. C. Hardage, John Freeman, Austin Shedd, Graydon Underwood, Randolph Aaron, W. C. Nicholson, R. L. Hardy Jr., A. Hardy, W. W. Jack and T. C. Sanders.

At Mrs. McDaniel's bedside at the time of death Monday was a lifelong friend, Dr. W. D. Copeland.
