TERRY -- Florence S. Stephens, 73, a retired shipping clerk, died of respiratory failure Monday at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at County Line Baptist Church in Crystal Springs with burial in Terry Cemetery. Stringer Funeral Home in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Stephens, a Crystal Springs native, lived in San Leandro, Calif., for 27 years before moving to Terry in 1966. She worked for a wholesale drug distributor in California. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church.
Survivors include: husband, Edward; sons, Rex Lamar McCord of Harrisville and Ken Ray McCord of Hot Springs, Ark.; brothers, Bennie Whittington of Ocean Springs and Elmer Whittington of Hayward, Calif.; sisters, Irene Keyes of Terry, Bertha Nichole of Pearl and Claudine Wilson of Liberty; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
