GREENVILLE -- Flossie Stevens Jarnagin, 84, a homemaker, died Friday of heart failure at Mississippi Extended Care.

Services are 10 a.m. Monday at Boone-Wells Funeral Home with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Greenville. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Jarnagin was a Waynesboro native who moved to Chatham and attended Chatham High School. She had lived in James Crossing prior to moving to Mississippi Extended Care in 1995. She was a member of Lake Washington Baptist Church in Glen Allan. She was the widow of Milton D. Jarnagin.

Survivors include: daughters, Ann Thaggard of Wayside, Betty Dobbs of Newport News, Va., and Mary Alice Davis of Hollandale; sisters, Gertie Harrison and Katherine Davis, both of Waynesboro; brother, Wesley Stevens of Waynesboro; and six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
