Ms. Floy Helene Gilliam Holloway, 86, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the home of her sister on Tom Fitzgerald Road in the Santa Fe Community.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Bowers and Bro. Thomas Culberson officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 5 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Floyd Marvin Gilliam and Aubie Blanche Watson Gilliam. She had been married to Ferrell Holloway who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker who enjoyed watching soap operas and at one time had enjoyed pottery. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include a sister, Betty (Eldridge) McMeen of Columbia; niece, Jennifer (Steve) Duval of Santa Fe; nephews, Freeland McMeen of Santa Fe, Kevin (Nicole) McMeen of Columbia; great niece, Elizabeth (Wyatt) Alderson of Santa Fe; great nephew, Kurtis Duval of Santa Fe; uncle, Boyd (Lois) Gilliam of Columbia; aunt, Hettie Gilliam Hardison of Gallatin; several cousins; and special friends, Idalee and Bill Allen and their daughters, of Murfreesboro.

Active pallbearers will be Freeland McMeen, Kevin McMeen, James Lee, Roger Gilliam, Steve Duval, Kurtis Duval and Billy Cheek. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Godwin-Chappell Methodist Church.
