Floyd Arinder
MORTON -- Floyd Arinder, 85, a retired maintenance worker for B.C. Rogers Poultry Co. in Morton for 37 years, died Saturday of heart failure at his home.
Services are 10 a.m. Monday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton with burial in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl. Visitation is 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Arinder was a native of the Lorena community in Smith County. He was a resident of Morton for 42 years.
He was member of North Morton Baptist Church.
Survivors include: wife, Tressie; sons, Roger Arinder of Sacramento and Danny Arinder of Morton; daughters, Faye Pope and Jean Benton, both of Pearl, Fran Shoemaker of Brandon, and Helen May of Florence; brother, George Arinder of Lorena; sisters, Lois Baines [sic Baynes] and Mary Arinder, both of Lorena, Verdell Huff of Pelahatchie, and Marie Wheat of Shreveport; and 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
