FLOYD COLLINS BISHOP

Injuries received in an automobile accident Sunday, Sept. 19, were fatal to Floyd Collins Bishop, 37, of Route 2, Louin. He died Monday in a New Orleans hospital.

A native of Jasper County, Bishop was the son of the late Henry G. and Claudie Meeks Bishop. He was employed by an offshore drilling company.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 10 a.m., from the Antioch Baptist Church. The Revs. O. V. Swearengen, W. O. Pippins and R. E. Clark will officiate, with burial in the Antioch Cemetery.

Bishop is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Lovett, Ovett; Mrs. Beatrice Williams, Pleasant Hill, La.; Mrs. Mavis Rayner, Louin, and Mrs. Olean Williamson, Hattiesburg; four brothers, Valmer Bishop, Bay Springs; Ross Bishop, Onix Bishop and Charles Bishop, all of Route 2, Louin, and a number of nieces and nephews.
