ENNIS -- Floyd M. Hobbs of 304B Arnold St., Ennis, died early today at the Brookhaven Nursing Home at Ferris.
Funeral services are to be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Bunch Funeral Home Chapel here with burial following in the Myrtle Cemetery.
Mr. Hobbs was born on Oct. 28, 1893, in Pulaski, Tenn. In 1915 he married the former Miss Ida Mae Camp of Italy. A retired grocery and service station operator, he was a Baptist.
Survivors include his widow; 3 sons, Jasper Hobbs of Ennis, Grady Hobbs of Dallas and Overby M. Hobbs of Ferris; a daughter, Mrs. Charles A. Parks of Lancaster; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Jodie Hobbs of Wilmer and Johnny Hobbs of Tehuacana; 2 sisters, Mrs. Roscoe Kelly of Conroe and Mrs. A. W. Hathcock of Dallas.
