Floyd John Stock

DECATUR -- Floyd John Stock, 85, of Decatur, died 5:28 a.m. Monday (June 20, 1994) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home with visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials: Easter Seals Society of Central Illinois.

Mr. Stock was born Feb. 23, 1909 in Kensett, Iowa, the son of Caleb and Mary Fuller Stock. He was retired from Duro-Test Corporation. He was a member of United Commercial Travelers. He married Zora Boyett in May 1938. She preceded him in death in 1971.

Surviving are his son, Darryl and wife Kay of Decatur; daughters, Carolyn Johnson of Decatur; Sherryl Speasl and husband Joe of Concord, Ohio; brother, Russell Stock of Osage, Iowa; sister, Marcella Thomas of Mission, Texas; grandchildren, Karryl Ellis, Sandra Motsinger, Sherry Johnson, John Stock, Susan Speasl, Justin Speasl; four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and three brothers.
