Floyd Leon Maxey

BOSSIER CITY, LA -- Services to honor the life of Floyd L. Maxey, 64, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2016, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Justin Haigler of The Simple Church. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. There will be a brief visitation prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Floyd was born on April 4, 1951, and passed away on March 24, 2016, following a lengthy illness.
He is preceded in death by his father, Emmett Maxey; and his mother, Pauline Maroney. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 38 years, Meshell Maxey; son, Keith Aaron Maxey and wife Shannan; sister, Sharlotte Maxey; grandsons, Kail Maxey and Seth Worrell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
