POUNDS

Services for Floyd I. D. Pounds, 69, of Baytown will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lester Bell officiating.

Pounds died Tuesday in a Baytown hospital.

Born in Nacogdoches County, Pounds was a 42-year resident of Baytown. He was employed at Exxon's Baytown Refinery, where he worked as a machinist. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Hattie Pounds; and two sons, Billy and I. D. Pounds, all of Baytown; also a foster daughter, Patsy Faye Pearse of Stephenville; a brother, R. B. Pounds; and a sister, Elva V. Carlton, both of Baytown.

Five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Burial will be at Memory Gardens.

Arrangements are under the direction of Paul U. Lee Funeral Home.
