Ford Lofton
Ford Lofton, 72, of McCall Creek, died Dec. 2, 1998, at his residence.
Visitation is 4-10 tonight at Brookhaven Funeral Home and continues 1 p.m. Friday at Concord Baptist Church until services there at 2 p.m. The Rev. Tony Mullins and the Rev. James Case will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Lofton was born Dec. 18, 1926, in Franklin County. He was the son of the late Sam King “S.K.” Lofton and Myrtis Nettles Lofton.
He was retired from Screen Wire Plant and had been an employee for Franklin County. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Annell Freeman Lofton of McCall Creek; one son and daughter-in-law, Clayton “Buster” and Pat Lofton of McCall Creek; one brother, A.C. Lofton of Brookhaven; two sisters, Nellie Rae Burns of McCall Creek and Thelma Smith of Natchez; one grandchild, Michelle Lofton of Tyler, Texas; three step-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren, four nephews, other relatives and friends.
