Forist Gray Rhodes
TEXARKANA, Texas -- Services for Forist Gray ``Dusty'' Rhodes will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Fuqua-Everett chapel of Texarkana Funeral Home. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens.
Rhodes, 85, of Texarkana died Friday, Aug. 27, 1999, in Hot Springs, Ark.
He was born in Colfax, La., was retired from Sears Roebuck & Company, was co-owner of Dusty Rhodes Motor Company, was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Arkansas, was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Harlan Rhodes of Texarkana, Texas; two sons, Raymond Rhodes of Camerillo, Calif., and Eugene Rhodes of Greenville, Texas; one daughter, Jan Merriott of Hot Springs, Ark.; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. today in the funeral home.
