F. J. KENNEDY

F. J. Kennedy, 71, Route 2, Heidelberg, died in a Quitman hospital Tuesday morning. Funeral services will be at Pine Grove Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon at 2. The Revs. Fred Chancellor and J. W. McGrew will officiate. The body will be at the home until the funeral hour.

Burial will be in the Vossburg Cemetery with Memory Chapel in charge.

Mr. Kennedy, a retired carpenter, was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church and the Heidelberg Masonic Temple.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertie Thatch Kennedy, Route 2, Heidelberg; two sons, James H. Kennedy and John W. Kennedy, Route 2, Heidelberg; four step-sons, Robert Lee Thatch and Marvin Thatch, Heidelberg; Milton Thatch, Jackson; Willie Thatch, Meridian; one step-daughter, Mrs. Blanche Odom, Steens; two brothers, Dallas Kennedy and Louis Kennedy, Magee; two sisters; Mrs. Addie Wells, Heidelberg and Miss Alice Kennedy, Magee; and fourteen grandchildren.

Pallbearers have not been named.
