Foy W. ``Slim'' Goodman
PRESTON, Idaho -- Foy Wayne Goodman, 67, former resident of Salt Lake and Texas, died Friday, December 10, 1993 at Logan, Utah.
He was born April 17, 1926 at Emhouse, Texas, the son of Jesse Ray and Ruby Freeman Goodman.
He married Catherine Layson in 1951 in Oasis, Kansas; they were later divorced. He married Marilyn Henderson December 3, 1984 in St. George, Utah. They have lived in Preston the past nine years.
He enjoyed gardening, camping and the outdoors. He worked for Wasatch Electric as an electrical lineman in construction work.
He is survived by his wife of Preston, Idaho; daughter and two sons, Cynthia Ann Childress, Austin, Texas; Robert Wayne Goodman, Sandy, Utah; Michael Duane Goodman, West Jordan, Utah; daughter-in-law, Jolene Goodman, Riverton, Utah; stepchildren, Karen Murray, Richmond, Utah; Sue Bodily, Preston; Pam Stevenson, South Jordan; Julie Flint, Morrison, Colo.; and Jo Yeanopols, Littleton, Colo.; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; 11 step grandchildren, one step great-grandchild; brothers and sisters, Jesse Ray Goodman, Jr., Dallas, Texas; Peggy Louise Edwards, Sidney, Texas; Bobbie Moselle Howard, Ennis, Texas; and Joann Gray, Bluffton, Texas.
Preceded in death by a son, Steven Bruch Goodman; one brother, Joseph Goodman.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 14, 1993, 1 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 109 East Oneida, Preston, Idaho, under the direction of Keith Justice, Minister of the Church of Christ. Friends may call Tuesday, December 14, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Whitney Cemetery.
