Arnold, Frances Elaine `Nanny'

A retired seamstress and a resident of Denham Springs for 25 years, she died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 77 and a native of Winnfield. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., with religious service at 5 p.m., conducted by her pastor, Keith Zachary.

Survived by her daughter, Lawanna Dove; son, Ralph A. Dove; grandchildren, Angela M. Chandler, Alanna M. Chapmen and Michelle and Robert Dove; and great-grandchildren, Jeremy H. Chapmen, Benjamin J. Chapmen, Christien Smith and Sarah Dove.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Dove; five brothers, James, J.B., David, Louis and Herman Rolen; and mother and father, Alma and Robert Rolen. She was a member of New Covenant Baptist Church, valedictorian of her class and enjoyed caring for others, cooking and sharing her faith.
