Frances Evelyn McCarty

Frances Evelyn McCarty, age 75 of Alvin, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at her residence. Evelyn was born on December 30, 1936 in Crowville, Louisiana and was a resident of Alvin for 21 years. She married Robert “Bobby” McCarty on February 12, 1955. She was a member of Second Baptist Church, Pasadena, Texas. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Barbara Roan, father and mother-in-law, Marable and Clara McCarty, son-in-law, Jim Baugh, brothers, Eddie Ray Roan and Bradford Cotton.

Evelyn is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert “Bobby” McCarty, daughters, Dianne Baugh and Joyce McCulley, sister, Virginia Sattler, 4 grandchildren, Michael Baugh and wife, Leslie, Jonathan Baugh and wife, Stephanie, Chelsea Baugh, Cassie McCulley, 3 great grandchildren, Colton Baugh, Bailey Baugh and Cheyanne Baugh, numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, May 4, 2012 at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M.
