Frances Harrison Julian
August 11, 1926 - February 11, 2012

Frances Lee Harrison Julian, 85, of Big Lake, entered into rest, Saturday, February 11, 2012 from a local hospital.

Mrs. Julian was born in Houston, TX, raised in North Louisiana and lived most of her life in the Lake Charles area. She studied nursing in New Orleans and worked as a nurse's assistant at St. Patrick's Hospital. She also worked as an operator and teletypist for Bell Telephone. During her younger years, Mrs. Julian enjoyed dancing and singing. She also enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, playing cards and watching game shows.

Mrs. Julian will be most remembered for her love and devotion to her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Henry Lee Julian, Jr. of Lake Charles; four daughters, Becky Julian and companion Kerry Wayne Jones of Big Lake, Ann Kennedy of New Orleans, Linda Jo Clayton and husband Keith of Terrell, TX and MaryEtta Daniels and husband Jim of Huntington, IN; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and one sister, Elizabeth Frick of Campti, LA.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Henry Lee Julian, Sr.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 18, 2012 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Keith Clayton will officiate. Gathering of family and friends will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
