WHITTINGTON, MRS. FRANCES C.

Resident of Devall Rd., died at 2809 Weller Ave., at 5:30 a.m. Saturday at the age of 46. A native of Slaughter. Body to be at Hollabaugh-Spindle Funeral Home in Baton Rouge until 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Religious services to follow at Northside Baptist Church in Denham Springs at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Burial in New Denham Springs Cemetery. She was a member of the Boar Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Earl Whittington; five sons, Elvin, Gary, Francis Gaynell and Michael L. Whittington, Baton Rouge, and Kenneth Wayne Whittington, Lafayette; two daughters, Carolyn Earline and Susan Darlene Whittington, Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mrs. Beverly Escue and Miss Maude V. Chaney, Baton Rouge; three brothers, Ernest L. Chaney Sr., Ogden F. Chaney Sr. and J. B. Chaney, Baton Rouge; a granddaughter, Kennkay Whittington, Lafayette, and numerous nieces and nephews.
