Died 9:15 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 1990, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 69, a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Port Vincent.
Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 2 to 10 p.m. Sunday, and 9 a.m. until religious services at 3 p.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Tommy Ship. Burial in Beech Ridge Cemetery.
Survived by husband, D.C. Whittington, Port Vincent; three daughters, Cynthia Hernandez, French Settlement, Elsie Broussard, Prairieville, and Lillie Johnson, Denham Springs; two sons, David Whittington, Bayou Sorrell, and Frank Whittington, Port Vincent; three sisters, Ruby Marino, Plaquemine, Lillie Frost, and Loma Melancon, both of Port Allen; ten grandchildren, William Hernandez, Prairieville, Edward Hernandez III, French Settlement, Danelle Whittington, Bayou Sorrell, Bridget Broussard, Prairieville, Kenny and Paul Johnson, Denham Springs, James and Frankie Whittington, Denham Springs, Carla and Travis Whittington, both of Springfield, and Hope Whittington, Port Vincent.
Preceded in death by parents, Frank B. and Lillie S. Geisler; a daughter, Janice Whittington; and a son, William Hardy Whittington. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
