Mrs. Francis Dampier

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances McCoy Dampier, 77, of Wisner will be at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Wisner with Dr. Milton Williams officiating. Burial will be in Holly Grove Cemetery under direction of First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Mrs. Dampier died at the Franklin Parish Hospital Tuesday after a lengthy illness. She was a native of McCall Creek, Miss., had resided in Franklin Parish for the past 60 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wisner.

Survivors include her husband, Mack Dampier of Wisner, two sons, Cecil Dampier of Wisner, and Virgil Dampier of Winnsboro; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Easterling of Winnsboro, and Mrs. Bill Carroll of Wisner; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.
