Frances R. Sparks

BLOOMINGTON - Frances Ruth ``Jimmie'' Sparks, 84, of Bloomington, died Saturday, March 6, 2004.

She was born May 22, 1919 in Ruston, La. to late John Franklin McAllister and Sallie Parks McAllister. She was a clerk at Bloomington Water office and a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors: husband, James Ray Sparks; daughter, Donna Maxey of Victoria; sons, Gary McKeithen of Bloomington; stepson, Jim Sparks of Richardson; sister; Elaine Martin of West Monroe, La.; four stepgrandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: sister, Beatrice Self; and brothers, John McAllister, William Hoover McAllister, and Donald McAllister.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. tonight at Rosewood Funeral Chapels.

Services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church of Bloomington, the Rev. Mike Swearingen officiating.
