Francis E. Dampier

Funeral services for Francis E. Dampier, 76, of Winnsboro, will be held today, Wednesday, March 11, in the Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.

Interment will be in South Central Cemetery, Wisner, with Sister Marie Johnson and the Rev. Jim Johnson officiating.

A native of Wisner, she was a housewife. She died on March 9, 1987, following a lengthy illness.

Survivors include her husband, K. G. Dampier, Wisner; five sisters, Loiuse Newman, Ferriday, Rosa Lee Savoie, Houma, Liddie Bell Albritton, Wisner, Carrie Landry, Houma and Sue Anderson, Tucson, Ariz.; two brothers, Pete Ensminger and Elmo ``Bo'' Ensminger, both of Wisner; one step-son, Billy Dampier, Wisner.
