NEW ORLEANS, LA - Services for Francis Littrell McGee, 70, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 3, 1989 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Chaplain Scott Ofsdahl of Barksdale Air Force Base will officiate. Burial with full military honors will be observed at Centuries Memorial Park.
Mr. McGee died Saturday, September 30, 1989 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in New Orleans, La. following a short illness. He was born in Lake End, Louisiana. He was a Protestant and was retired from the U. S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtis Edmiston McGee of Karnack, Texas; one daughter, Sally Cates, New Orleans; one step-daughter, Glenda Whitehead, Shreveport; three step-sons, Robert L. Benton, Anchorage, Alaska, Donnie Emmons, Mooringsport, La, and Harold Culver of Karnack, Texas; one brother, Rev. Lance McGee of Walker, Louisiana; numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
