Francis (Frank) Poucher

Francis Poucher, 64, of Marysville, WA, died August 22, 2009 with his family at his bedside after a long battle with cancer. Frank was born in Detroit, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Helen and Ben Poucher; his aunt and uncle, Wanda and Frank Zawdski; and his son, Luke Poucher.

Frank retired from the Air Force after 22 years of service with several medals and accommodations. He moved to Washington and worked for Boeing on the flight line for 15 years and retired from there in 2001. Frank loved to fish in his spare time, play a good joke and will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his compassion for his fellow man.

He is survived by his two brothers, John Raines and James Poucher; children, Laurie Madden, Theresa Coleman, Dominic Poucher; also nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He will be greatly missed but not forgotten.

There will be a small family gathering but no service at his request.
