Sgt. Frank Hardy Is Wreck Victim

M-Sgt. Frank Hardy, 31, former Flora resident, was killed in an automobile wreck near Kennedy, Texas, Saturday afternoon.

Hardy was a native of Flora, and had lived there all of his life prior to entering the Air Force when he was 18. He was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. He was a Methodist.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Birgie [sic Virgie] Echols Hardy, of Brandon; three sisters, Mrs. Woodrow Griffin, of Brandon, Mrs. Raymond Tingle, of Shelbyville, Ky., and Mrs. Michael Kaprielion of Fresno, Calif.; and two brothers, James Henry Hardy, Jr., of Flora, and Lester Ray Hardy, of Madiera Calif.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete pending release of his body by the Air Force. Wright and Ferguson is in charge of arrangements.
