Frank McMichael
Frank McMichael,63, Conception Jct., died late Friday night at his home.
He was born April 14, 1914, in Gentry and was the son of the late Elmer McMichael and Virgie Lane. On March 22, 1933, he was married to the former Esther Pearl Kirchner, who survives.
McMichael was a farmer who lived in this area all his life and attended school in the Gentry area. He belonged to the First Church of Christ, Barnard.
Other survivors include: a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Ruby) Phillips, Gowrie, Iowa; a son, Kenneth W. McMichael, Barnard; a brother, Vernon McMichael, Maryville; two sisters, Mrs. Marion (Grace) Hunter and Mrs. Lorace (Velva) Walton, Stanberry; two stepsisters, Mrs. May Cannady, Gentry, and Mrs. Faye Malson, Albany; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, a brother and a stepsister.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville. Burial will be at the Greenridge Cemetery, Gentry. The family will meet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel.
