Frankie Forman
Frankie Forman, 73, a lifelong resident of the Homochitto community in Amite County, died July 25, 2007, at Regency Medical Center of Jackson.
Visitation is 6 to 9 tonight at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster and 9 a.m. Saturday until services there at 10 a.m. The Rev. Max Foreman and the Rev. Burnette Carraway will officiate. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Gloster.
Mrs. Forman was born Aug. 3, 1933, in Amite County, to Clyde and Zadie Wilkinson Freeman.
She was a homemaker and a member of Royal Chapel Methodist-Protestant Church near Gloster.
Mrs. Forman was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bennis Forman Sr.; and a sister, Bonnie Forman.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Bennis Forman Jr. and Beverly, and Mickey and Tracie Forman, all of Terry, and Jerry Forman of Meadville; a daughter and son-in-law, Janice Forman Shelton and Nicky of Gloster; four grandchildren, Carrie Forman, Sarah Shelton, Kimberly Forman and Stacie Brown; five great-grandchildren, Taylor, Deann, Katelynn, Abigail and Anna; two sisters, Ina Mae Honea of Magnolia and Marion Miller of Baton Rouge; and a brother, E.T. Freeman of Gloster.
