Frankie Lee Lamkin, 78, of Port Arthur, passed away Friday, August 5, 2005 at Hermann Memorial Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. She was a native of Pineville, LA born October 17, 1926, and was a resident of the Port Arthur area for the past 57 years. She was a member of the Stonegate Church of Christ.

Survivors include her two daughters, Karon Faulk and husband, Todd of Nederland, Linda K. Keating and husband, Larry of Vero Beach, FL; three sisters, Verna DeYoung of Bridge City, Dorothy Covington and husband, Jerry of Groves, Doyce Krebs and husband, Ernie of Fred; one brother, Don Lofton and wife, Mattie of LaBelle; grandchildren, Chuck Snapp and wife, Marianne of Hollywood, FL, Jeremy and Josh Faulk both of Nederland; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Raymond Lamkin, and parents, Herbert and Mary Lofton, and one brother, Phillip Lofton preceded her in death.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 5-8 pm Sunday, August 7, 2005 at Broussardis Mortuary 505 12th. St. in Nederland. Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Monday, August 8, 2005 at Broussardis Nederland Chapel with her grandson, Chuck Snapp officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
