Funeral services for Frankie Louise Guice, age 85, were held 2:00 PM Sunday, November 26, 2006 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Walter Cloud officiating. Interment followed in Unity Cemetery in Darnell, LA.

Frankie Louise Guice was born on February 11, 1921 in West Carroll Parish and passed away on November 24, 2006 in Oak Grove, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Dora Barker; a grandson, Michael D. Guice; two brothers, Aaron Barker and Wildon Barker; and two sisters, Eva Thompson and Florence Yates.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Clyde Guice of Pioneer, LA; one son, Johnnie Guice and wife, Judy of Pioneer, LA; three grandchildren, Charlotte Owens of Pioneer, LA, Donald Ray Guice and wife, Tina of Gonzales, LA, and David A. Guice and wife, Amanda of Pioneer, LA; seven great-grandchildren, Jason Owens and wife, Jessica, Kyle Owens, Brett Guice, Brian Guice and wife, Rie, Jessica Lewis and husband, Robert, Kenneth Guice and wife, Tori and Christopher Guice.

Pallbearers were Donald Guice, Vince Hillman, Bill Duckworth, B.J. Duckworth, Lee Duckworth, Mark Duckworth and David Duckworth.
