Frankie Pat McCarty
Frankie Pat McCarty, 73 of Magee, passed away, Thursday, October 20, 2011 at University Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at First United Methodist Church of Magee. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Church. Burial will be in Collins City Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee, MS is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031
Frankie was a life time member of the Methodist faith.She was a long time member of the Zeta Tau Alpha at MSU. She was school teacher for 41 years. Frankie had a special love for all animals. She had a caring heart for all. Frankie was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Frankie is survived by her sister, Mary M. McNair; sister-in-law, Mary Ann McCarty, Magee; nieces, Jackie Lassiter, Magee, Judy Johnson (Les Sr), Magee, Brenda Rankin (Don), Mendenhall, Rose Mary Crocker (Buddy) Mendenhall, Patti Sullivan, Ridgland, Kathy Flynt, Flowood,and Shellye McCarty, Madison, Livy Semler (Tom), IN; nephews, Zeno Mangum Jr, Magee, Johnny McCarty, Terry, Jacob Leggett, TX; great nephews and great niece, Donald Rankin, Frank Holland, Zeno Mangum III, Phillip Rankin, Lauren Rankin Hollingsworth, Shane Puckett, Les Johnson Jr, and Christopher Puckett; and a host of other nieces and nephews
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hyman Folks Sr and Floy Crump McCarty; sisters, Margaret Ann Crawley, Juanita (Peggy) Leggett; brother, H.F. McCarty Jr; brother-in-law, Dr. J.D. Leggett and nieces, Cindy Mangum and Marsha Wells.
Pallbearers are great nephews, Donald and Phillip Rankin, Frank Holland, Les Johnson Jr, Zeno Mangum III, Shane and Christopher Puckett.
