Fred A. Green

Fred A. Green, 57, of 1276 Delhi St. in Bossier City died Monday in Grand Isle after a sudden illness.

A native of Delhi, he had lived in Bossier City 36 years. Mr. Green was a night watchman for Grand Isle Shipyards, Inc., and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Monroe.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Bossier Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hill Crest Memorial Park Cemetery in Bossier Parish.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Alice Green of Bossier City; three sons, Frederick Lee Green of Omaha, Neb., Larry David Green of Fort Worth, Tex., and Robin Allyn Green of Bossier City; his mother, Mrs. Rose W. Green of Monroe; a sister, Mrs. W. W. Bowen, of Harsville, S.C.; two brothers, Richard Green of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Chester Green of Bowling Green, Ky.; and three grandchildren.
