Fredrick David Dampier

Funeral services were held at 5 p.m. Monday at Coax Baptist church for Fredrick David Dampier of Wisner.

Seventy-four years old, Mr. Dampier was born May 31, 1888 at Sicily Island. He was a farmer by occupation and died August 19 at Rogers Clinic.

He is survived by: his wife, Mrs. Hettie Dampier of Wisner; three brothers, Mark and K. G. Dampier, both of Wisner, and Lucius Dampier, Monroe; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Kelley, Plaquemines, and Mrs. Susie Thomanson and Mrs. Vinnie Barfield, both of Winnsboro.

Pallbearers were Lloyd, Otis, T. G. Lawrence, Jesse and Sam Houston Roberts.

The Revs. Doyle Stockton and W. H. Warbington officiated at services. Burial followed in Coax cemetery.
