Fred Patton Dies

Fred Patton, one year and six months of age, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Patton, died on the afternoon of June 15. He had been ill several months and the loving care for him in his hours of suffering made his departure all the more difficult for the parents. The resident pastor, Mr. Howard, conducted the services at the home in Clarks.

Ere sin could blight or sorrow fade,
Death came with friendly care;
The opening bud to heaven conveyed
And bade it blossom there.
