F. P. McFetridge Rites Are Today

ORANGE, Dec. 30 -- Funeral services were to be held today at 2 o'clock in the Claybar funeral home chapel for Fred Patrick McFetridge, 63, of 1209 Texas street in Cove addition.
The Rev. W. W. Kennedy, pastor of Cove Baptist church, was to officiate. Burial was to be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. McFetridge died Wednesday about 11 a.m. in his home of an apparent heart attack. He was a retired welder and a native of Fisher, La. He had lived in the Orange area for 32 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Launie McFetridge of Orange; six daughters, Mrs. Delmar [sic Delmore] White and Mrs. James Tary [sic Parry], both of Houston; Mrs. O. M. Roeling and Mrs. Archie Tanner, both of Hull, Tex., and Nellie McFetridge and Minnie Dell McFetridge, both of Orange; two sons; a step-son, Dave Strickland of Leesville, La.; a sister, Mrs. Dicie Lewing of Hornbeck, La.; a brother, G. W. McFetridge of Vidor, and 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
