Friend Doyle

OELWEIN -- Services for Friend Doyle, 83, of Oelwein, who died Sunday afternoon (June 21) at Peoples Memorial Hospital, Independence, after a lengthy illness, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Brant-Kerns-Jamison Funeral home; burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein; survivors include his wife, Ethel; and two sisters, Mrs. Adee Anderson of Eastman, Wis., and Mrs. Bertie Taylor of Harrisonburg, La.; he was preceded in death by his first wife, a son, three sisters and two brothers; friends may call today at the funeral home; Mr. Doyle was a retired railroad and tool and die worker.
