Services for Garland Mayfield Boles, age 73, of Eros, LA will be 10:00 AM Thursday, October 17, 2002 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel, West Monroe, LA with Rev. Raymond Jones officiating. Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Cemetery, Shreveport, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Mr. Boles went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 15, 2002 in West Monroe.

Mr. Boles was a member of Liberty Grove Church of God where he served as head usher. He was a charter member of the Rifleman Hunting Club, as well as an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Annie Lee Fielder Boles and his parents, Arthur Horace and Annie Pearl Creel Boles, one brother, and one sister.

Survivors include his loving wife: Mary Louise Boles of West Monroe, LA; three daughters: Lois Sunderland of Altoona, PA, Faye Mitchell of Lugoff, SC, Betty Owen of Memphis, TN; step children: Charles Chilton and wife, Saundra, Marilyn McCaa and husband, Len, Ronnie Chilton and wife, Cheryl, all of West Monroe, LA; five sisters: Eloise Silman of West Monroe, Lucille Greer and husband Eugene of Rayville, LA, Mary DeYoung of Longview, TX, Annie Ardis of Doyline, LA, Maurice Rhodes of Shreveport, LA; three brothers: Horace Boles and wife Dorothy of Shreveport, LA, Carl Boles of Shreveport, LA, Sammy Boles of El Paso, TX; special nephew: Bobby Boles and wife Bo; and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 9 AM until service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
