Sutherland Rites Set for 2 P. M. at Wise Funeral Home

Funeral services for Garrett M. Sutherland, 54, who died in Allen Memorial hospital at 6:35 a.m. Saturday, Jan 19, 1957, will be held at the Wise Funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. James Sitzher, pastor of the Boyd Baptist church, will officiate. Interment will be in Brown cemetery.

Sutherland, who lived on Bonham, Rt. 4, was born Dec. 4, 1902. He had made his home in Bonham most of his life. He was formerly employed by the Fannin County Electrification co-operative. He had been ill but three days.

Survivors are three sons, G. D. Sutherland of Cedar Hill, Vernon Sutherland of Duncanville, Billy Sutherland of Bonham; one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Williams of Paris; one brother, Garland Sutherland, and nine grandchildren.

Active pallbearers will be Buster Johns, L. W. Magulre, James McBroom, D. O. Weathersby, J. W. Cunningham, and Leon Harper.
