Gary L. Ewing, 47, of Jonesville, LA was born August 21, 1954 in Jonesville, LA and died Saturday, June 29, 2002 in Jonesville.

Visitation will be at 6:00 PM Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church.

Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church with Rev. Russell Hancock, Rev. Dan Davis, and Rev. Murrell Ewing officiating. Interment will be at Heard Cemetery, Manifest, LA.

Mr. Ewing graduated from Block High School and was an avid musician and songwriter. He was a member of Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church of Jonesville. He was a sporting good salesman and part of the Ewing family singing group. He sang at many funerals and weddings. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Boothe Ewing.

Survivors include his father, Bobby Ray Ewing of Jonesville, LA daughters, Autumn Melody Ewing of Ridgeland, MS, and Summer Alison Ewing Tullier of Baton Rouge, LA and brothers, Derwin Ewing of Pineville, LA, and Mike Ewing of Jonesville, LA.

Pallbearers will be Brenson Ewing, Deron Ewing, Delan Hale, Kevin Hale, Mark Hale, Dwight Kemnitz, Buddy Patten, and Ricky Patten.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kade Kemnitz, Kohl Kemnitz, Wayne Bryant, and Ross McCaughey.
