Gary Wayne Emmons

Gary Wayne Emmons, 37, of 410 Antietam, died early Sunday morning at a local hospital following a sudden illness.

Born Oct. 17, 1945 in Refugio, he was the son of the late Jimmy J. and Lillian Dunseth Emmons. Mr. Emmons was the owner of Emmons Automotive Center and had lived [in] Victoria since 1972.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mark's United Methodist Church. The Rev. Carl Westbrook will officiate with burial to follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Colonial Funeral Home.

The body will lie in state at the funeral home until 9:45 a.m. and taken to the church for services.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Pam Nixon of Victoria; three sons, Jeffrey, Gregory and Bradley Emmons, all of Victoria; a sister, Mrs. Patricia Moscatelli of Victoria and a brother, Jimmy L. Emmons of San Antonio.
