G. L. SPINKS

Pleasant Hill, Aug. 28 (Special) -- G. L. Spinks, 53, died in Colfax this morning after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Wallace Baptist church.

The Rev. O. M. Corley will officiate and the Rev. Ben Joyner will assist him. Burial will be in the Wallace cemetery.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Rose Spinks; two daughters, Marie Spinks of Colfax, Mrs. C. A. Baldwing [sic Baldwin] of Westwego; two sons, Joe Spinks of Colfax; Elbert Spinks of Natchitoches; one brother, J. B. Spinks of Shreveport and three sisters, Mrs. O. E. Bufkin, of Mansfield, Mrs. Ross Mayes of Pelican, and Mrs. Evie Powell of Wimberly.
