George A. Foster
Services for the Rev. George A. Foster will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Hixson Bros., Pineville, with the Revs. Mike Fort and Ron Nation officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.
Foster, 69, of Pineville died Thursday, Jan. 15, 1998, in Rapides Medical Center.
He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Colfax, and he pastored several Louisiana churches during his life.
Survivors include his wife, Helen L. Foster of Pineville; three daughters, Sheryl Lynn Hooks of Monore, and Debbie K. Holyfield and Resa F. Brady, both of West Monroe; two stepsons, Gerald Wayne DeSoto of Dry Prong, Anthony DeSoto of Pineville; one stepdaughter, Kathy Lynn Nation of Dry Prong; one sister, Audrey James of Winnfield; and 12 grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of services Saturday in the funeral home.
