George B. Foshee

NATCHITOCHES -- Services for George Barnes “Barney” Foshee will be at 3 p.m. today in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis with the Rev. Ren Todtenbier officiating.

Foshee, 43, of Natchitoches died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, in Huey P. Long Medical Center, Pineville.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Natchitoches and was a self-employed contractor.

Survivors include his wife, Melody Dark Foshee of Natchitoches; three sons, Brandon Foshee of Magnolia, Ark., Brian Bailes of Hawesville, Ky.; one daughter, Laura Foshee of Magnolia, Ark.; his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Foshee of Natchitoches; his mother, Charlene Foshee of Natchitoches; and one brother, Paul Lee Foshee Jr. of Natchitoches; and one sister, Fran Poole of Natchitoches.

Friends may call from 8 a.m. until time of services today in the funeral home.
