George Daniel Manley died at his home on Tehama street about 11 o'clock Thursday morning. He had been a sufferer of consumption for many months and the ravages of the disease left little doubt that death was near. The deceased was 45 years of age and a native of Ohio. He leaves a widow and several children. The family has resided in Redding continuously for many years, with the exception of two years spent in the mountains.
The funeral will be held from Moody's undertaking parlor this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Redding cemetery.
